OAKHAMPTON HOMESTEAD & COUNTRY HOLIDAYS

 Oakhampton Homestead featured on Seven

Yes, pretty Sophie Faulkner and the crew of Ernie Dingo's "The Great Outdoors" unit stayed at Oakhampton Homestead to film a new segment for this popular lifestyle TV series. Here's just a few quotable quotes from the 15th July 2002 episode.

"This gorgeous place is as comfy as an old pair of slippers".
"It feels lived in, cosy and most of all...warm and welcoming".
"Just what you want in a cosy farm stay"
"The lady of the house also happens to be an excellent cook".
"Outside you'll meet a menagerie of creatures great & small".
"Choose from 5 different horse rides through eucalypt hills".

"Welcome to Oakhampton Homestead. You'll love it here."

Over the space of several days everyone strove to achieve the impossible.... how can one possibly cover the entire scope of this magnificent property in such a short time span?

"Hold it fellas, I don't think the piglet has read the script!"

Well known Seven Network presenter Sophie Faulkner soon began to appreciate the value of that old show-biz adage, "always avoid working with kids and animals!"

"Hey, this would be great fun if I could forget the camera!"

14th July 2002

This massively circulated Sunday newspaper had something quite
nice to say about us in their 14th July 2002 editorial content, quote...

"This school holidays, city slickers will flock to farms and livestock stations that cater for visitors. Here are five of the best".
